A Layer-1 chain built for RWA
independent Layer-1 chain

Solon is a Layer-1 (L1) blockchain, — not a Layer 2 of any chain. It produces its own blocks, settles its own transactions and controls its own compliance layer: securities-grade assets (bonds, credit, receivables) are issued and transferred without bridges or external sequencers, with compliance rules written directly into the protocol.

L1 vs L2Layer 1 or Layer 2? — Layer 1

This is the most fundamental question about Solon's positioning, and the answer is unambiguous:

Solon Solon is an independent Layer-1 blockchain — not an Ethereum Layer 2, and not an L2 of anything else.
DimensionSolon(L1 independent chain)Ethereum L2 (rollup)
Transaction confirmationSolon Validators produce blocks directly — confirmed within 1 second, final on arrivalRouted through a sequencer, then waits for Ethereum finality (minutes to days)
Asset modelNative assets, issued on-chainBridge receipts, dependent on bridge security
Single point of failureNo sequencer; dual validators across datacentersMost L2s run a single-operator sequencer
Compliance controlWhitelist / freeze / forced transfer in the protocol layerConstrained by base layer and sequencer
Best forRWA securitization needing asset sovereignty and compliance controlGeneral transactions seeking Ethereum security

ConsensusConsensus & security

Solon adopts Clique PoA(Proof of Authority) consensus: permissioned validators take turns producing final-on-arrival blocks — the standard choice for institutional RWA (same family as Polygon PoE, early BNB and most consortium chains), because securities settlement demands determinism, — not probabilistic bets.

Dual validators · cross-datacenter resilience
  • Validator A — Singapore datacenter(also runs the faucet)
  • Validator B — Seoul datacenter(also runs the portal and RPC)
  • Both nodes produce blocks in turns,if either goes down the other keeps producing blocks — the chain never stops
Deterministic finality
  • PoA final on arrival, no reorgs
  • confirmation latency ≈ 1–2 seconds (1–2 blocks)
  • vs PoW: no 6-confirmation wait of ~1 hour (Ethereum)
  • Mainnet plan: validator admission committee + multisig governance, opening after dual audits and penetration testing

ArchitectureNetwork architecture

The execution layer is Geth (Go-Ethereum, same lineage as Ethereum nodes) with the EVM London instruction set; Singapore and Seoul form the consensus network.

Why SolonWhy 'Solon'

「In 594 BC, Solon's Seisachtheia abolished debt bondage; 2,600 years later, we write the same conviction into code.

Solon Chain Bonds, credit and receivables flow compliantly, transparently, 7×24 — debt is a tool, not shackles.
